Make Talent Decisions with Confidence—Every Time

Examples of PXT and ProfileXT reports

Making the wrong talent decision is costly. No one enjoys dealing with high turnover, especially when it can cost up to 30% (or more!) of an employee’s first-year salary, and it compromises your organization’s ability to succeed.

The PXT Select® and ProfileXT® assessments provide your organization objective, reliable data to confidently hire, manage, and retain top talent in today’s evolving workplace. These tools support both traditional talent management and job re-architecture, helping you align roles with emerging skills. Whether hiring remotely or in-person, or redefining existing positions, our insights enable you to build a high-performing, future-ready workforce.

What Is the PXT Select Assessment?

As a comprehensive, “full person” assessment, the PXT Select assessment measures how well a candidate fits specific job requirements in an organization by assessing three key areas that help predict future job success:

Create Benchmarks for Success

Before assessing an individual, our team of experts helps you develop performance models for the jobs you need to fill. A performance model is a benchmark you will compare individuals against to establish the degree of Job-Person Fit.

Assess for Job Fit

The HR administrator or hiring manager schedules candidates online. Candidates receive a link and can complete the assessment online.

Receive Actionable Data

The system instantly scores the assessment and sends the requested reports to the hiring manager and anyone else who would like to view them. The reports will show the comparison between the Performance Model and your candidate’s personality traits. This will establish the degree of job fit. The hiring manager uses these results to screen the candidate or assist in the process of interviewing, selecting, and onboarding.

Interests

Thinking Style Composite Score Scales: Verbal skill, verbal reasoning, numerical ability, and numeric reasoning displayed

Thinking Style

Also known as cognitive ability, this is the number one predictor of success on the job. It defines how a person processes information for problem-solving, communication, and learning skills. Learn how a candidate will use and interpret verbal and numeric information to meet the challenges of the role.

Behavioral Traits Composite Score Scales: Pace, assertiveness, sociability, conformity, outlook, decisiveness, accommodation, independence, and judgement are displayed

Behavioral Traits

This portion of the assessment measures a person’s key tendencies, preferences, and job behaviors. Learn, for example, if a candidate tends to be cooperative and work within the rules or if they tend to set their direction and act independently.

1 - ENTERPRISING

An Enterprising interest suggests the enjoyment of leadership, presenting ideas, and persuading others. Individuals with this interest may desire responsibility and exercise initiative, ambition, and resourcefulness.

2 - PEOPLE SERVICE

A People Service interest suggests the enjoyment of collaboration, compromise, and helping others. It may indicate a strong sense of empathy and support and a knack for bringing people together.

3 - FINANCIAL/ADMIN

A Financial/Admin interest suggests the enjoyment of working with numbers, organizing information, and office routines such as record-keeping and completing paperwork. It could indicate an eye for detail and a desire for accuracy

Interests

This section helps predict motivation and potential satisfaction with a given job. The more their interests align with what the job requires, the more they will enjoy it. This is critical because we know that people who are happier in their jobs are more productive, more effective, and more engaged.
